Narratives centered on purpose, spirituality, and personal transformation have increasingly captivated the Brazilian public, especially on symbolic dates such as Easter. According to data from Parrot Analytics, between the first quarter of 2022 and the same period in 2025, consumption of content classified as religious grew by 99% in the country. So far this year, this type of title already registers an audience volume four times higher than the average of other available content on the market.
These figures reflect a significant change in the behavior of Brazilian viewers, who are increasingly seeking stories oriented toward reflection, connection, and hope. They are not necessarily tied to formal religious practices, but rather linked to a desire for purpose and emotional balance.
In line with this movement, Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s free streaming service, has prepared special Easter programming for the whole family. The curated selection features titles that combine spirituality, entertainment, children’s programming, and culinary experiences, creating a welcoming environment for all types of audiences over the holiday.
“We view Easter as a moment that goes beyond religion. It’s about coming together, reflecting, and renewing. By observing this consistent increase in the consumption of spiritual content, we have sought to offer a selection that respects and engages with this demand, while still valuing diversity and a lighthearted approach,” says Aline Jabbour, Senior Director of Samsung TV Plus Latin America.
