For the third week in a row, The Mandalorian is the series with the most audience demand in the United States. The Star Wars series from Disney+ is releasing new episodes until December 27th. This ongoing new content for an already high demand title means it is very likely The Mandalorian will stay on top for remainder of 2019.

US audience attention measurement shows that The CW’s The Flash is the biggest riser in the top ten compared to last week. The superhero series rose to 4th place, from 10th last week. The increased attention comes as The Flash approaches the finale of Season 6 on December 10th.

Finishing the overall Top 10 series, Japanese anime My Hero Academia enters the chart in 10th place. The animation is currently airing Season 4 on Adult Swim in the USA.

In the digital exclusives chart, the Top 5 is unchanged from last week. The Mandalorian, DC Universe’s Titans and Netflix’s Stranger Things, The Crown and Lucifer all retain their top 5 placement in that order. However, there are exciting developments outside the top 5.

We earlier predicted that is was only a matter of time before we witnessed an Apple TV+ series in the Top 10. This week saw the December 6th season finale of Apple’s Jason Momoa-starring sci-fi drama See. As a result, demand from American audiences increased by 4.8% compared to last week. This meant See is the 7th most demanded digital exclusive in the USA this week and is the first Apple TV+ series in the digital exclusive Top 10.

This is a great sign for Apple that audiences are responding positively to their high budget content investments. Along with other Apple TV+ series, See was apparently greenlit for Season 2 months ago at a reported cost of USD240 million for both seasons.

Prime Video’s award-winning comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel returns to the digital exclusives this week chart in 6th place. Demand for the series more than doubled compared to last week after Season 3 of the show was released all at once on December 6th.

Finally, DC Universe has a new title in the top ten. Our audience attention measurement places animated series Harley Quinn as the 9th most demanded digital exclusive this week. Demand for the new show nearly doubled compared to last week after the premiere on November 29th. Like other DC Universe series, new episodes of Harley Quinn will be released weekly.
