In this article we look at the top breakout shows of the past week. Breakout shows are the most in-demand series that have premiered in the past 90 days.

Prime Video’s Gen V remained in first place for yet another week in a row, with the series seeing a minor increase in demand. The spike in demand for the show was relatively minor considering that its finale aired on November 03. As of this week, Gen V had 36.6x the average demand for a series, although it remains to be seen if it’ll see one final increase in demand before audiences turn their attention away or if this is the highest demand the show will have for its premiere run.

Demand for One Piece and Ahsoka continued to fall this week, although both shows still managed to held on to their positions in second and third place. We expect to see both shows begin to slide down the ranking as new series make their debut in the coming weeks. Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher also remained in fourth place this week, despite seeing a 4% decline in demand as well. Overall, most series in the ranking this week did see a drop in demand, likely attributed to the slate of big movie releases over the past few weeks.

With shifting audience interests as other shows slid down the ranks this week, Apple TV+’s Lessons in Chemistry moved up the ranking to take fifth place (despite a minor decline) with 22.7 times the average series demand. It exchanged places with AMC’s Daryl Dixon which slid down to seventh place with 21.8x the average series demand, an 8% decline from last week.

Max’s new adult animated science fiction drama, Scavengers Reign, made its debut in the ranking this week with 20.9x the average series demand. The 31% increase in demand for the series came after its new set of episodes dropped on October 26. The show has been airing three episodes each week since its premiere on October 19, a strategy that seems to be working well to keep audiences engaged. This is Max’s second new adult animated series that has made its way into the breakout shows ranking. The other series, Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, has remained in the ranking since its premiere over two months ago. Despite seeing a steady decline in the weeks since its finale on September 28, Fionna and Cake has held strong. As of this week, it took tenth place with 19.7x the average series demand.
