Non-local language content trends during Ramadan
- Content from Turkey made up a larger share of demand in Iraq than other markets in the region.
- Morocco was unique in the region for having a significant share of demand for content from France and Spain.
Which themes and moods did audiences want more of in their content during Ramadan?
- Wholesome themes experienced an increase in demand over the holiday period like Family, Teamwork, and Comedy.
- Informational topics also saw an increase in demand including Non-fiction and Educational content.
Where is local MENA content finding fans outside the region?
- The US was the top market with the highest demand for Arabic content outside of MENA, followed closely by India and Pakistan.
- The top ten markets for Arabic cotnent spanned regions of the world showing that local Arabic cotnent can find broad appeal across markets.
